Fairfield has a reciprocal agreement with Disley Golf Club – two clubs for the price of one!
Members can play golf at both clubs with NO additional charge to their membership fees!

Here at Fairfield it’s not just the golf you’ll enjoy, it’s a great way to make new friends, keep fit and enjoy our social scene. We can show you round the facilities, help you settle in and walk you round the course. We recognise that ladies lead very busy and demanding lives, so we are continually trying to evolve the section to make sure we maximise the opportunities for our members to play competitive and social golf.

Learn to Play
You don’t need any equipment, just wear something comfortable and some flat shoes. It’s a fun way keep fit and meet new friends. Consider booking a ‘Get into Golf’ lesson with our professional, Steve Pownell. If competitions are not for you, just come along and play – we’d be delighted to go out on the course with you, even if you only have time to play a few holes.
Competitions
We run ladies competitions every Thursday and Sunday through the season and the Club's Friday 9 hole competition is open to all the Club's members. We also play team matches in the Tameside League, Bronze Shield, Bell Cup and Mail on Sunday run a Ladies 'exchange' with other local courses.
Fairfield has been awarded Community Amateur Sports Club (CASC) status and is open to all of the community including hose on modest or low incomes.
Any member or prospective member whose financial circumstances so not allow them to pay an annual membership subscription and associated costs of more than £520 is invited to apply to the Club Manager (in writing) and demonstrate that any sum above this figure is not affordable to them.
The application will be considered by the Management Board and, if accepted, an alternative fee structure will be offered to the applicant.
The club will ensure that applications are treated in the strictest confidence.
All applicants that are accepted to the club will enjoy identical voting rights and privileges to our other standard categories of membership.
